In the preface to ‘Inclusive Design: Chinese Archive’, he wrote: “The number of universities in China offering industrial design courses quickly grew from just a few to over a hundred, flourishing across the country. Design theories also exhibit a vibrant diversity. However, amid this abundance, inclusive design—aimed at accommodating the largest range of users—remains a glaring void.” “The publication of this book will certainly play a positive role in advancing inclusive design in China, keeping pace with international developments, and exploring new paths for China.”[/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space]

Professor Wang attending the Inclusive Design book launch symposium

[vc_empty_space][vc_column_text css=””]Our long-term collaborator, Professor Julia Cassim, passed away on the 16th June 2024, in Japan.
