2017年7月9日至16日，以“New Media·New Design”为主题的「同济-剑桥-伦敦研究生国际学术会议」在剑桥大学与布鲁内尔大学成功举办。本次会议受到同济大学研究生国际合作培养项目资助，由同济大学设计创意学院包容性设计研究中心、同济大学艺术与传媒学院、剑桥大学工程设计中心以及布鲁内尔大学主办。来自三校的师生围绕“New Media • NewDesign”的主题进行深入了学术交流。
